In a small hatchback that I imagine was never designed for carrying exhaust components

Exhaust should be routed like that from the factory. So good in the winter.

You are building Oppo cred. Now, time to transport a long block in your trunk area..
Giggity.

Ahh, the infamous “Paxback” setup.

lol, the Montego’s old system fit entirely in it’s trunk.
Huge trunk.

I’ve often wondered if it was just me that seatbelted everything...
Boxes.
Groceries.
Heck, I even run a seatbelt through the handle on my lunchbag so it doesn't end up on the floor.

I’ve seat-belted my cat’s pet carrier. I’ve even seat-belted a teddy bear.

I’ve never got a block in there, but I’ve carried heads a few times. I’m surprised the trunk “floor” held up

I either stick it behind the seats, or seatbelt it. I don’t like things rattling, and I’ve had rogue objects fly past my head during panic stops, so I try to avoid that

That's quite impressive

When I just read the title and saw the thumbnail pick I thought that was that hatchbacks own exhaust piped through the cabin hahahaha

It also has a whole extra set of 4 wheels in the trunk right now too. 2 of which are wider than stock for the rear. Hahahaha
Oh and every fluid it could need. Old cars leak sometimes...
